My first time on this site. Bill was my cousin. His middle initial is actually "E" for Edward. On June 7 1944 he won the DSC. In September He, Lieutenant Robert Thomas Edlin, Sgt. William Courtney, and Sgt Burmaster captured the Graf Spee battery with 500 prisoners. They were awarded the silver star - Honored by Thomas Arthur
