My Father returned to Omaha Beach in 2001 with his three sons. I believe he was on one of 4 LCT s that was destroyed upon landing during the second wave. Beyond that I do not know much else.

BROWN HERBERT H - 29TH INFANTRY DIVISION
Nickname: Brownie Married the love of his life, but had no biological children He liked to pheasant hunt and to drive a Cadillac. Survived WWII with no major injury. Died an old man after a brief battle with cancer. Buried in Virginia. Wonderful soul. Made a positive impact.
