EMBREE RAY A - 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION
My name is Richard Porter. Ray Embree was my step-father. As a child, I can remember him telling me that he was at Anzio and then spent D-Day as a P.O.W. in a forward Stalag. He was freed several days after capture by US troops and continued to fight. Possibly at the Battle of the Bulge? - Honored by Richard Porter
