Mark Wagner My father cpl. George wagner (still alive) was in a signal corps unit attached to the 1st inf. He does not remember the name of his unit, but said he went in behind some "South Carolina boys who really caught hell". Anyone ever hear of this unit? Or anything about 1st inf. sig corps on dday?

Paul Perry Mr. Wagner, I've been studying the loading plans today to see which LST my dad was on. He was with the 33rd Field Artillery Battalion, 1st ID. It looks to me like your dad was probably part of the 1st Signal Company. That unit later became the 121 Signal Battalion.
