Kenneth Gruber my name is Ken Gruber, seeking information about Lt. Emil Winkler, died Omaha Beach, not far from Pt Du Hoc, landed H+30. He was related to my mother and brother. I have read eye witness account that he was part of group including Lt Harold Donaldson, that formed to attack machine guns on the bluff.
